Adult Background Checks Required

It is the policy of USA Hockey that all adults (aged 18 or over) that participate in and represent the IFYHA program and have contact with youth players apply for background checks every three years (e.g. coaches, team managers, on-ice officials, division directors, locker room supervisors, etc.). This policy is implemented by the Idaho Amateur Hockey Association and strictly enforced by IFYHA.

Anyone coming in contact with players MUST be screened. Therefore, coaches, hockey Mom's/Dad's, Directors, locker room supervisors,etc. MUST BE SCREENED. Coaches will not be allowed on the ice until they are properly screened.

Screening is paid for by IAHA. No costs to IFYHA members. Questions regarding this policy, please contact the IFYHA President at President@ifyha.org.
